Song by Kalsey Kulyk brought in this performer to record a song about Dillon.  We flew to Tennessee and had a long session brain storming the lyrics.  This is the result.  Please listen and enjoy.

Vanderbilt Football

#32 RB-Jamauri Wakefield honored Dillon by displaying D's last name on the back of the game jersey.  It was awesome to see "Dillon" on the field again as he was in high school.  What a way to honor him and all fallen on VETERANS DAY!

Elementary School Poem

Dillon was published at age ten in the local newspaper.  The messages he wrote at that age still ring in our heads as to how much it told of events to come.  As much as it hurts, it is warming to know that his life was planned and he is with our heavenly father.

Michael Reagan Artist

Michael Reagan is an internationally recognized artist who draws portraits free of charge for families of the fallen through the Fallen Hero's Project. Mike drew this beautiful picture of Dillon right after the accident.

K9's for Warriors 2018

"Dillon", a K9 in training, was selected to represent Dillon and his love for dogs.  There is current work going on right now to allow all twelve Marines to be represented by a PTSD therapy dog.  Dillon is the first.  According to her trainer, "Dillon" is doing well. She is smart but also stubborn (Like Dillon?). Her trainer is very happy with her abilities and confidence in public.

The Breakfast of Champions

Dillon on Wheaties

General Mills offered to create a Wheaties box in honor of Dillon!  Someday we may see these on the shelf.  That would be the TRUE BREAKFAST OF CHAMPIONS!

Hometown Hero City Banner

Dillon was Honored along with 57 other fallen Heroes during the Memorial Day weekend of 2018 through Peoria's Hometown Heroes Banners.  His banner will be up from spring until fall every year along a main street in downtown Peoria.

Fallen Hero Portraits

Charlotte Wiskow's greatest love in art is portraiture, and now her major focus is on some very special people—Fallen Heroes, who laid down their lives for their fellow countrymen.  She attributes her success in creating life and warmth in her paintings to careful observation, a feel for the subject, and techniques learned by studying the Old Masters.  She is a Southeast Minnesota native who has been accepting commissions for over thirty years, working mainly in oils.  Other media used in creating her art include pastels, pencil, charcoal, and pen & ink.  Her work embraces a variety of subject matter.

Heart Strings for Heroes

Nov 4th, 2018 - Heart String For Heroes Honor Cruise recognized and honored Dillon as their fallen Hero Honoree. CEO and founder Wade Sabourin presented us with this beautiful airbrushed guitar in Dillon's Honor.  We felt dignified to be there among 4 purple heart recipients who also received beautiful guitars in their honor. His organization is an amazing non-profit who's purpose is to provide healing with the gift of music.  We can't thank Wade and his organization enough for that special day and the memories of their abundant love..

Minnesota Fallen Heroes 2017

We were contacted by the Military Heroes Foundation and were asked if Dillon could be remembered in the 2017 calendar.  Of course we said YES!  He is represented in November in honor of his birthday, the 22nd of November.
